We recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. We intend to form an Alliance to provide participating organizations/ association members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect employees’ health and safety.

Our Vision is to create a culture of incident-free Operations thru collaboration with Industry Safety leaders.

Forme Area Director David Bates received a gift fom our MCEPS group forth extraordinary work and dedication he had for our industry.

To promote incident free operations through safety and health improvements and protection of the environment in the onshore Oil and Gas Exploration & Production, Transmission Industry.

We are an all volunteer organization that provides opportunities for sharing of best practices, lessons learned, continuing education, and networking among organizations and individuals.




  • We work with OSHA in providing expertise to develop training and education programs for operators regarding hazards and to provide expertise in communicating such information to employers and employees in the industry.

  • We deliver or arrange for the delivery of courses which communicate the hazards described above.

  • We work with OSHA to provide expertise to develop workplace safety and health curricula oilfield safety, energy safety and production safety.

  • OSHA believers worker safety and health are important to this industry and they offer an eTool* which identifies common hazards and possible solutions to reduce incidents that could lead to injuries or fatalities.

David Bates recently retired as the OSHA Area Director.

David devoted his time, energy and focus to making sure workers were returning home safely from a job well done. 

We wish David a much deserved retirement and we accept his challenge to continue the mission to make sure all workers get to go home at the end of the day.
